DUG收购巴拿马朗姆品牌Carta Vieja多数股权
美国烈酒集团Distillers United Group（DUG）宣布收购巴拿马朗姆品牌Carta Vieja的多数股权，交易金额未披露。Carta Vieja现有产品线包括两款透明朗姆酒和多款陈年朗姆酒，其中包括Golden Cask Solera 18，以及已有百年历史的Golden Cask Anniversary。DUG表示，此次收购将两家对正宗烈酒、匠艺与拉美传承抱有共同热情的公司联合起来。该品牌将于2027年2月1日起加入DUG国际产品组合，同时进行品牌形象、包装与产品的焕新，在保留巴拿马根源的同时，面向全球消费者推出更当代的表达。
Distillers United Group (DUG) has acquired a majority stake in Panamanian rum brand Carta Vieja for an undisclosed sum.
Carta Vieja’s portfolio currently includes two clear rums and several aged rums, including Golden Cask Solera 18 and Golden Cask Anniversary, which is 100 years old.
DUG said the acquisition ‘unites two companies with a shared passion for authentic spirits, craftsmanship and Latin American heritage’.
The brand will join the DUG international portfolio from 1 February 2027. The acquisition will involve a refreshed identity, packaging and product offering, all of which DUG said will honour the brand’s Panamanian roots while introducing a more contemporary expression for global consumers.
The group will work with the existing Carta Vieja team to build on the brand’s legacy and prepare for the next stage of international growth.
DUG’s portfolio is built around Venezuelan rums and spirits, such as Ron Tepuy and Cocuy Saroche. The company is also behind Diplomático rum, which joined Brown-Forman’s portfolio in 2023.
