法国烈酒集团La Martiniquaise-Bardinet完全收购无酒精鸡尾酒品牌Sir James 101
French firm La Martiniquaise-Bardinet has fully acquired Sir James 101, three years after taking a minority stake in the alcohol-free cocktail brand.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Sir James 101 was founded by Vincent Yilmaz and Rambert de Lange in 2019 under a company called Brand Captains. It offers a range of ready-to-drink (RTD) mocktails and non-alcoholic alternatives.
While the La Martiniquaise Group is now the sole owner of the brand, Yilmaz and de Lange will continue to be involved.
They said: “After more than seven years of building and developing Sir James 101 and seeing the brand achieve remarkable year-on-year growth, we feel this is the right moment to take a step back. We look back with great appreciation on the journey we have had with the brand from day one and are confident it will continue to grow and succeed with the team.”
Yilmaz added: “I could not be prouder of what we have achieved. We have taken the brand from a concept to a growing business in a competitive category, growing from strength to strength, forging business relationships across the globe, and creating some of the best-tasting adult soft drinks in the industry.”
The brand is currently present in 13 markets, including the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East.
Sir James 101 plans to use the acquisition to “continue establishing its presence in the foodservice sector as a premium adult soft drink brand” and plans to release a range of zero-alcohol spirits.
