布朗-福曼旗下Woodford Reserve推出双桶黑麦威士忌（Double Oaked Rye），扩充其双桶产品线。新品以完全熟成的肯塔基纯黑麦威士忌为酒基，再入重度烘烤、轻度炭化的专用新橡木桶进行二次陈酿，最长12个月，以45.1%酒精度装瓶，呈深红木色泽，风味为烤浓缩咖啡、焦糖、柠檬卡仕达与糖渍碧根果。该酒款将与双桶波本一同进入品牌常设产品线，近期在美国全国上市，750毫升建议零售价54.99美元。
Brown-Forman's Woodford Reserve has introduced a twice-barrelled rye whiskey to its collection, expanding its Double Oaked line.
The release joins the brand's permanent range alongside Double Oaked Kentucky Straight Bourbon.
Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Rye is made by taking fully matured Kentucky straight rye whiskey and re-barrelling it into a specially crafted second virgin oak barrel, heavily toasted and lightly charred, for up to 12 months.
Bottled at 45.1% ABV, the expression presents a rich mahogany colour and flavours of roasted espresso, caramel, lemon custard, and candied pecan.
“Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Rye is where rye meets the richness of Double Oaked,” said Woodford Reserve master distiller Elizabeth McCall.
“We are bringing that same meticulous attention to barrel finishing that defined our Bourbon over to the rye category, creating an unexpected, complex, and incredibly flavorful whiskey.”
