路威酩轩集团旗下格兰杰发布品牌迄今最老的威士忌——一款50年单一麦芽，以149个瓷瓶呈现。该酒款由首席酿酒师比尔·拉姆斯登博士主导打造，他1995年加入酒厂，并负责监督这款酒最后三十年的熟成。酒液于1970年代中期入桶，使用酒厂自有地板发芽车间（1977年停用）处理的最后几批大麦，在波本猪头桶与初填奥罗罗索雪莉桶中熟成；1999年拉姆斯登从中精选出一小批酒液，在重新填装的猪头桶中融合陈年，最终以47.5%原桶强度装瓶，售价2.58万英镑。
LVMH-owned Glenmorangie has released its oldest whisky to date, a 50-year-old single malt, presented in 149 porcelain vessels.
The 50-year-old whisky has been created under the guidance of master distiller Dr Bill Lumsden. He has overseen the expression’s last three decades of maturation, having joined the distillery in 1995.
The single malt also uses the last batches of barley processed in the distillery’s own floor maltings, which were decommissioned in 1977.
The liquid was laid down to mature in Bourbon hogshead casks and first-fill oloroso Sherry butts in the mid-1970s.
During his early years at Glenmorangie, Lumsden identified several casks that had “significant” ageing potential. In 1999, he selected a small parcel of whisky from these casks once they had reached a considerable age.
