苏格兰社区所有制酒厂GlenWyvis将申请破产管理
英国法夫郡社区所有制威士忌酒厂GlenWyvis因未能筹到继续经营的资金，将于9月23日向爱丁堡最高法院提交「任命管理人意向通知」。酒厂称长期遭遇商业、运营与法律问题，主因是威士忌市场环境艰难、运营成本上升及持续的外部压力。此举可让债权人在10个工作日内无法采取追偿行动，管理人尚未正式任命。董事长拉姆齐称这是「非常悲伤的一天」，酒厂已由社区持有10年，此前探索了所有可行方案。
Community-owned Scotch whisky distillery GlenWyvis is set to appoint administrators after failing to secure funding to continue trading.
A spokesperson for GlenWyvis in Fife said the distillery's management committee filed a Notice of Intention to Appoint Administrators (NOIA) at the Court of Session in Edinburgh on 23 September 2026.
The move follows what is described as a prolonged period of substantive commercial, operational and legal issues on the business, driven by challenging conditions across the whisky market, rising operating costs and sustained external pressures.
Dr Jock Ramsay, chairman of GlenWyvis Distillery, said: “This is a very sad day for all of us associated with GlenWyvis Distillery. For 10 years this distillery has been owned by its community and sustained by the extraordinary support of its members, volunteers and staff.”
GlenWyvis launched as a not-for-profit community benefit society in 2016 and began distilling in 2018 following a successful community share offering.
The filing of an NOIA ensures creditors are unable to initiate legal recovery actions against the firm for a period of 10 business days.
