美国天堂山将爱尔兰利口酒品牌 Irish Mist 售予都柏林公司
美国烈酒集团天堂山（Heaven Hill）已同意将旗下爱尔兰利口酒品牌 Irish Mist 出售给总部位于都柏林的 The Old Canal Quay Spirits Company，交易金额未披露。此次出售涵盖持有 Irish Mist 品牌的爱尔兰子公司 Zilorto Limited。Irish Mist 创于1947年，是爱尔兰首款商业化生产的利口酒；天堂山2017年以1.65亿美元从金巴利集团手中收购该品牌与 Carolans 奶油利口酒。
Dublin’s The Old Canal Quay Spirits Company has agreed to acquire Irish Mist Liqueur from Heaven Hill Brands.
The sale covers Zilorto Limited, a subsidiary of Heaven Hill Ireland that owns the Irish Mist brand. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Created in 1947 at Tullamore distillery in County Offaly, Irish Mist was the ‘first’ commercially produced liqueur made in Ireland. The expression combines Irish whiskey, honey and spices.
Campari Group bought the brand from William Grant & Sons in 2010, before selling it to Heaven Hill in 2017 alongside Carolans Irish Cream Liqueur. The deal for both brands was worth US$165 million.
Allan Latts, co-president of Heaven Hill Brands, added: “As we invest behind our premium portfolio, this decision reflects the disciplined thinking that guides how we approach every brand in our lineup.
“Irish Mist is an iconic Irish liqueur, and the right move is placing it in the hands of an owner with Irish roots and the focus to grow it the way it deserves.”
