印度朗姆巨头Tilaknagar以230万美元收购龙舌兰酒厂三成股权 进军龙舌兰赛道
总部位于孟买的印度酒业公司Tilaknagar Industries以约230万美元收购同行Black Tiger Distilleries 30%股权，正式进军印度增长最快的龙舌兰酒品类。该公司今年新推出Bodega Suprema No.5龙舌兰酒获得资金支持。此项投资紧随Tilaknagar去年从保乐力加手中收购Imperial Blue威士忌品牌之后，标志其加速布局高端烈酒多元化组合。
Tilaknagar’s investment in fellow Mumbai-based Black Tiger Distilleries and its recently launched Bodega Suprema No. 5 Tequila marks the company’s entry into one of India’s fastest-growing spirits categories.
The investment follows Tilaknagar’s acquisition of Imperial Blue whisky from Pernod Ricard last year.
Black Tiger Distilleries founder Mohnish Mehta explained: “As we built Black Tiger Distilleries, finding the right partners with deep category expertise and a strong understanding of the Indian spirits markets was key.
“With Tilaknagar Industries’ support, we see an opportunity to make authentic 100% Blue Weber agave Tequila more accessible to Indian consumers at a compelling premium price point. Bodega Suprema No. 5 is the first step in building that proposition and introducing it to consumers across India.”
As part of the partnership, Tilaknagar will invest a total of IRN 22 crore. This includes an initial investment of IRN 6 crore (US$632,000), followed by a second investment of IRN 16 crore (US$1.7m) to be made on or before 12 months after the first tranche.
